This was part way round at the Clwyd Gate following the climb up from a fast gravel descent. Brother-in-law to be Lee joined us and kept up no problem. Jack enjoyed the downhills too - not sure about all the climbs though. Dennis was climbing like the proverbial mountain goat, with Kev and El fired up from their Alpine Etape foray.
Along some easy tracks to the flanks of Moel Fammau and the sapping climb.
Worth it though, for the fantastically fast grassy descent where Richard did his Valentino Rossi impression as he rattled past. Good job we had sandwiches as the pub didn't. So Steve and Rob popped to the other one which did. Over to Cilcain and then up to the col for the grassy descent past the reservoir. Thanks for being a good sport Gareth, and all the best for your big day.

Cheers Nick for my antlers and a cracking ride. I kept getting confused but admiring glances from the many of the sheep we passed and plenty of comments from walkers! Think I did get off fairly lightly for a stag do, and I made sure (due to strict instruction) to take it easy on the descents as to not ruin the wedding photos!
Lee had a great time too so hopefully he'll join us again some time.
Cheers again.
Fantastic ride, great company and fabulous weather - one to treasure for a long time - thanks Nick. I was a bit worried though when we saw the guys out shooting/trophy hunting, I'm sure they fancied displaying those antlers above their mantlepiece..
Great day out. The first time I've been on a stag do organised by a girlie! Well done Eleanor, well done Nick, a good choice of route.
As stag does go it was very cheap, I wasn't sick, didn't get a headache and never embarrassed myself, result!
Best of luck Gareth
Im sorry i missed it, looks like you had a great day for it as well. I agree gareth you did get off lightly i would have made you wear kit made by someone other than assos!! Still there is still time before you get wed. :)
