I hope to be out in the forest, probably only for a couple of hours. I can't promise, but if I'm there it'll be usual time and place and anyone who wants to follow me round is welcome to do so.
Derek and myself were the only 2 to make it out on Saturday, on what turned out to be a glorious morning. We spent most of the morning in Primrose Wood with quick detour to ride the Sandstone Trail section down from Summertrees cafe.
Althought autumn is officially here, I can confirm that the brambles and other thorny undergrowth has not yet begun to die back.
Sun 11 Mar Grizedale Duathlon.http://www.highterrainevents.co.uk/2.html 6.5km Run, 24km cycle & 6.5km run all off road and taking in much of the North Face trail in Grizedale Forest.
To help celebrate the club's 50th anniversary I thought of a good 50 mile off road ride for all abilities - the Mary Townley Loop. Let me know if you fancy it and we'll see if we can arrange a suitable date in the spring/summer.

Meet at McDonalds at ABERGELE next to the A55 for a wild ride in the Conway valley area. Not the Marin!
